January 18, 2019, Sunon announced the opening of its new showroom and design experience center in Hyderabad, India. A grand inauguration ceremony was held to celebrate the unveiling of the largest office furniture showroom in South Asia.
The brand-new showroom covers an area of 1200 square meters in a two-floor space with the fullest range of office furniture collections, from the latest products collaborated with famous European designers to the popular series developed and tailored to the Indian market.
“This year, we will take more of our designers to India, study the working habits of Indian users, and develop more popular products, particularly for the Indian market, since localization is an essential part of globalization.” said director of Sunon Indian Branch Eason Xu.
The Hyderabad showroom not only gives customers easy access to more choices, helping companies create great employee experiences in the workplace, but also provides concept of healthy office and sheer working pleasure advocated by Sunon and brings to life a new vision for the future of work.
During the “Inspiring Office” Designer Forum of the inauguration ceremony, managing director of Sunon’s International Business Division Cindy said: “ Sunon wants to be one of those who are dedicated to promoting diverse, comfortable and beautiful office space. As special guests, designer of SAMU Francesco Favaretto and designer of Hip Chair Andrés Baldoví, both of whom are winners of numerous awards including the Red Dot Design Award and A’Design Award shared their experiences working with Sunon and ideas on innovative design that determines the future of workspace. General manager of Sunon’s R&D Center Steven Zhang also delivered a brilliant speech on the future trend of office furniture design. He believes that the future of office furniture will belong to those who can learn the habits of its users and guide its users to work in a health-beneficial and efficient way: “In the coming 5 years, Sunon advocates that we should start with intellectualization of office furniture, and march towards the goals of creating a smart and health-beneficial workplace. We will build a cloud platform for smart furniture, and connect all third-party products in this platform to construct a database and form a smart office eco-system.”
